I have consulted and contractor on that too... Mine was stainless steel basin, if I use the correct holesaw, it gonna cost alot. He recommended the iron holesaw, but will wear off fast when driling stainless steel. I believe your is the iron holesaw to drill on wood & plastic? You may need a proper holesaw that can cut up metal to do it. I only got a holesaw that can saw wood and plastic unfortunately so can't help you there. I'm sure you can get it from your neighbourhood hardware shop. There's a proper connector to connect the "T" joint to the filter's pipe which can again be found at a proper hardware shop.
